Where can I find the “Tell Me” and “Show Me” questions?
Your driving instructor will go through all the questions with you and show you the answers. You can also check the official UK government website if you want to see them in advance.
How many lessons does the average learner driver need?
The number of driving lessons required to pass the UK practical driving test varies from one individual to another. However, the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) advises that the average learner typically requires approximately 45 hours of professional instruction, in addition to around 22 hours of private practice. While some learners may achieve test readiness with fewer hours, others—particularly those who lack confidence or require additional support—may need 60 hours or more of training.

Can I start driving before I’ve taken my theory test?
Yes, having lessons will actually help you with your theory test. We do advise that learning and passing your theory as early in the learning phase as possible is beneficial as the knowledge will help your practical learning.
Do i need provisional driving licence to start my driving lessons?
Yes, You must have a provisional driving licence.
How old do you need to be to start driving lessons?
You can begin your driving journey at age 17. To legally drive on public roads, you’ll just need to ensure you have a valid provisional licence, are accompanied by a qualified supervising driver, and are behind the wheel of a properly insured and roadworthy vehicle.
Before you apply for your provisional licence, make sure you meet the following requirements:
Identification: A valid identity document, such as your passport.
Address History: Your full address history for the past three years.
Age: You must be at least 15 years and 9 months old.
Residency: You must have permission to live in Great Britain for at least 185 days.
Eyesight: You must be able to read a number plate from a distance of 20 metres.”
